Adding Flavors?

Ok I know I'm a STRANGER!! but I'm going to ask anyway..... Has anyone tried adding flavors to their grow? and if so how did you do it? I mean did you add apple juice to your ferts, or grated orange peels to your growing medium? Could it be done?

when the buds are curing put something in the jar with em to get flavor from

both out door and indoor

all additives must be fully composted and processed to be imediately available to the plant

you need a worm farm or an aquaponics system to make and harvest organic nutrients

so if you process you flavors like mango and orange thur 1 of those systems you will end up with the what you want

put those flavor enhancing additives in the final flush of prue water

mixed at 1000 to 1

that means mixed at 10% of the normal bloom cf

so if you mix at say 100 to 1 for yah normanal bloom mix cf

than a additive it mixed at 1000 to 1

and added to the mix

then

mix that at 1000 to 1

I have popped some fresh vanilla in with curing buds with not bad results, other people have also said adding mango skins to your res during flush is great aswell .

 

Personally I don't really go for added flavors I have done it to experiment but find you simply can't beat strain selection when going for a taste

Vanilla beans also absorb a certain amount of moisture. I use them in my raw sugar bowl to stop the sugar going lumpy.

a mates dad swears by, apricot, mango nector in his res and probally other kitchen scraps in last half of flower, when asked why?? he couldnt really answer saying it has worked for many grows with tasty nute free last 1/2 of flower no adverse or strange effects on growth with tight smaller, buds alittle diff to how my W rhino turns out. Weve smoked the buds on and off over the past 5 years and its always a treat to get this stuff. Now he officially has my white rhino clone i cant wake to see if there is much differance between the two and our next harvests..

 

 

This is probally the start of a shift to more organic additives, foliar sprays, bug killers and flavorings. Personally id rather keep popping seed or gifted cuts till i find the stink and other traits i want in my next mum.

For the last week and a half (if your growing outdoors) you water your plants with water laced with food flavoring, like vanilla extract or something to that effect. My mate uses blueberry on his early misty, so its a bit like blueberry coffee once he's properly cured.
