what is the best method of storing my seeds before im ready to germinate?

I've just sprouted some NL seeds I've had in the fridge for about 2 years (no joke, I forgot they were there ) All four popped in 3 days! Had them stored in just a zippy that's it.

Best place in the crisper section of the fridge. Last for ages.

All i do is put them in a light & Air proof container and kept them at room temp in my cupboard.. Havent had any probs cracking them even a few years down the track..

 

But every grower has there own way that works for them..

i like envelopes filled with 30% dry rice, after a few days into a lightproof container(odd hole in the lid) with rice around folded envelope. this will keep them really dry year roundand might fool the POO as a rise container, can swap out the rice from time to time and sprout a seed every once and a while as some seeds need a fake winter (frridge) before best germ rates.
