i would never buy grow stuff from ebay because this can lead you to a prison cell

 

go to a hydro store and pay by cash everyone because i have a mate that got found out because of buying from ebay

I don't really know what I'm talking about, so excuse me if I'm wrong...and sorry if this isn't the thread for this...but if people are getting tracked and busted from buying legal hydroponic gear from ebay and other such online sites, then surely a lot of the people that post on this forum and other such forums would be running an even greater risk of being tracked or investigated. I cant say Ive heard many people voicing their concerns about these issues on forums like this but shit, makes me think if thats the case, should I even be posting here anymore? Would someone potentially be at risk from merely browsing forums with this sort of content? Paranoia or just the harsh reality of all this Babylon shit???

werdhousewerd, you make a good point and i think you are spot on.

 

Police would have a much higher success rate of finding marijuana growers if they were to track them down from this site, using their ip address etc. wouldnt be hard with the facilities they have.

Everything here falls under freedom of Speach and the rules we have in place insure that people here are not breaking the law on the forums.

 

I have been around the internet since well before it's "rebirth" to what we see today and have never seen anyone busted simply based on information.

 

We don't encourage commercial growing here we encourage people to grow for themselfs in order to cut that element out of their life . If you have a grow diary that shows that your growing a few plants for yourself you are if anything opening up your doors and saying hey i have nothing to hide or be ashamed of Cops don't like busting small time growers much more than the grower likes it , it's allot of work and in the case of an international server allot of money to be spent on little to no return , for 99% of the members here the "supply line" ends at themselfs so they are never going to do any damage to the "drug world" .

 

If you where to come here trying to peddle this or that and or where showing a huge commercial operation then yeah i would definatly suggest at minumum using a proxy server to get to this or anyother site but short of that I don't belive there is reason for much concern

Was he definitely busted because of the ebay transaction? or was it just coincidence ?

The fuzz have been known to case hydro shops as well. Take down rego numbers, and do background checks on people. So don't kid yourself that all is well by purchasing chit from hydro stores with cash. I'll admit, it's my prefered method of topping up on supplys, but it's a risk ya take.

 

But this topic isn't about that. It's about Smokin'27 new aerogarden kit. Something i know very little about, but tend to side with what mature said. Put your money towards something more viable. I doubt it's a total waste of $$$ though, it should be half decent for raising seedlings or striking clones, i'd imagine.

I seemed to have opened a can of worms of where to get supplies from!! I have tosay I'm a bit unsure how they will go myself But I do like the compactness of the units and the portability.I will play around with it and see how we grow.
