my drippers, wont drip

i know this sounds a little silly, but i setup, watering system kinda like toms, but my drippers wont drip, all they do is suck air and make my resouvoir bubble, i got a feeling i havent done it right, ok, i got a resouvior, with some line running around the cupboard an back to resouvoir" just had a second look at toms an i didnt put in the small line, it is the one size right round "13mm" i think, that part works, the water goes around an comes back to resouvoir, but when i punched in a dripper, it sucked air in? an bubbles the resouvoir,"also on a second look at tomo's, i didnt put in the preesure relief line, i felt like such a spastic, as id done most of it yesterday,an was gonna set the drippers in today after work, an was amped all shift thinking its gonna work, what have i done wrong , is it because i left those smaller lines out, or the pressure relief line, also is that on the return line or the going line, any advice mucho apreciatedo, overanout,

The pressure relief line is not that important, how high are you trying to pump the water and is the pump strong enough?

That was my problem when i started my set-up, I was that stoned i had no idea what I was doing half the time, and got myself totally confused ::

umm , i not actually smoking at the moment so its not that, ,,, umm the with the pressure, the water coming out of the return pipe is coming out pretty fast an full, its noway just a drickle, but i dont understand why the dripper are sucking, u can feel them sucking, if i put my finger over the dripper, it stops the bubbles, how's my form, icant take a trick,

oh, the line runs a bit over a meter off the ground,, u reckon lower it, or maybe have the resovour up a bit higher ?, umm i didnt think off that till then,

Did you partially block the return to increase the pressure in the system?

yeh, an that kinda got it workin, but me pump was making a wierd noise, so i would stop, is that cool?
