,...yeah I did download that game about 5 months ago! Just deleted heaps of cydoor files today using ad-aware.,, ironic isnt it?

Thanks for that Mr Putard, I only found the first file in the list in my c:\windows\temp, not in system.... Any idea if this is just the program trying to hide? I used spybot Search and Destroy recently, do you think that may have picked it up?

I've been playing dope wars for about 2 weeks...

Never had any probs with it...

Only found CD_CLINT.dll in my windows/system32 dir...

Ran trojan remover but it didn't find anything..

I'll try ad-aware now and see if that does anything...

It could be a time bomb trojan...at least now I'll now what could happen and I'll be on the lookout...

I dont know what it was, but it after downloading all sorts of stuff, deleting all the cydoor files and rebooting my PC about 10 times today, its all good.

I just finished downloading the latest java virtual machine, i think thats what fixed it, so far so good

Thanx Mr Putard, I was allready suspecting some spybot hiding in Aussie_Smoker's puter, be aware of the hiding skills of those bots. I have a "little" experiance in programming the creatures for personal use and they are good in hiding, they can easy be set to kinda "sleep" untill they get the commando to start working. I can advice everyone to use a good firewall and make sure ALL your ports are closed, there's also spybots surfing the net and getting access to peoples puters through ports they don't even know they excist.

Hey Mr.Putard or T-boat,

 

I was looking up that T-boat link above, and noticed also has TCP Scan and UDP Scan.

 

Could someone kindly explain what are TCP and UDP? Scanning for what under "TCP" and "UDP"?
