Plant Heigh And Its Related Harvest

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, this is my first post here. Been reading alot, learning alot  its a good place.

I am in the process of getting some Caramelicious seeds and have 2 questions regarding this.

1) has anyone here grown it and smoked it ?

2) how tall and wide would the plant have to be to produce about 25ounces or 1.5pounds however you want to look at it.

im just looking for an average figure, nothing specific down to the mm

big aye, not to helpful.........alright, well if i give u some figures for an indoor growing space, and hypothetically speaking got the plant to practically fill the growing space how much bud would i get ?

growing space = 1.5m x 1m x 2m tall ( 2m till the tip of the plant hits the tip of the bulb )

also, if going with the SOG style instead of 1 big plant would the whole veg/flower process be faster cuz the plant is smaller ? so in the end the same amount of bud is achieved but instead of a tall space we can work with a longer space. personly i like the idea of 1 big plant but its gonna get fair wafting

It's possible, Jorge Cervantes says 19oz - 450g/m2 at 65cm. 8 - 9 weeks of flowering. I have not grown this strain personally, but I have seen one of these plants in full flowering from another grower that I know. Kinda like a white in a way, really squat and bushy. She topped the plant once for cloning, but other then that she says that the plant just grows that way. I dont really know what she got for a yield off of that plant, I do know that the plant was very very heavy when I saw it. I had never really considered this strain before, but the projected yield is impressive for indoor.

Good luck

Short and bushy aye, that sounds alright to me, better than excessively tall and spindly. as for the measurements is 1m square wide enough for a plant that stays low and wide ? possible shorten the ceiling height and extend the walls ?

also another random Q, from any general lighting store what is the highest wattage compact fluro light available ? somehow a 25watt curly bulb dosnt seem like enough. not saying i was thinking of using one, that would just be silly  im thinking about a bank of 8 or 10.

TD i think you are trying to work backwards unless you have a couple of grows under your belt , first grow is so much a learning process and when you understand the life cycle of a Cannabis plant and the pitfalls that come with growing indoors and being Mother Nature yourself only then can you start to fine tune your particular setup for the high yields .... first grow dont even worry about yield just get familiar with your chosen strain and your growing setup ...

also take note of Dsyfer's very good advice relating to lighting and strain in the previous post cause he is spot on too ..

best of luck

EDIT; ok i see you already have a grow going in another thread, good stuff it will place you in good stead come the next one

you have 1.5sq metres of grow space..so my 2c is you would need to fill the entire area with the plant to achieve that big a yield. it would be easier with two plants 'cause then you only need 12.5 ounces from each plant.

...also you never mentioned your lights...I'd suggest a 1000watt HPS or a 600 and 400watter to get 25ounces...that will give ya about 67watts sq/ft.
