new grower needs lots of help.

Recommended Posts

ok, so i want to grow indoors this year for the first time. only problem is i have parents who will kick my ass if they find out. so what would be a good idea to put it in? also i have a lamp but it probably wont work. what kind of lighting would work best for, like, 1 or 2 plants? i have a couple of good seeds and i can easily germinate them. got any tips or anything that would be useful to me? as i said this is FIRST time growing.

i also started about 3 plants outdoors about 1 week ago, the problem is i cant tell if they are weed sprouts or just a weed in general. what are some signs of knowing what it is. its about 3 cm tall and has a purple stem with little white furs on it. it has 4 leaves extending from the top of the plant in 4 different directions, 2 leaves are flat and rounded, 2 leaves are flat and tipped. any ideas?

If you are still at home and parents are against it that will make things very hard, do they know u smoke it if they do try and explain to them how money u will save by growing it your self, but u are playing with fire doing it behind ya olds back in there house...

Welcome to ozstoners adam

You've got lots of reading to do mate, there's plenty of grow diaries on here and even tutorials for everything from germination to hashmaking.

Best to keep your olds on side if possible. Deceit is something that most parents don't appreciate too much lol ...having said that though, I grew under my parents noses for years  and they still love me ..I think :D

welcome to ozstoners/canna nation

dont grow at home unless you have your parents permission. it is unfair to put some risk on them without their knowledge and if they are that against you growing and find even a few sprouts in the back yard they could end up calling the police on you and making your life a living hell

i agree with the rest

growing behind ya parents back is a recipie for disaster and all mums are alike and go through ya shit at the drop of a hat or even the slightest wiff of something dodgy

to answer a few questions for ya though i would use a wardrobe preferably the one you already have in your room. A 250hps would be good for that area for a few plants but your gonna have to invest in odour control so you will need a decent fan and an odour soc plus your better off running duct from inside the wardrobe into the roof so no ducting can be seen from outside the room. Your also gonna have to make sure the wardrobe is light leak proof as a strange glow from a wardrobe as mum puts ya washing away is a dead give away.

Now for the ones you put outside if you are in the bottom half of aust they are probably dead due to frost or bugs you need to get a good idea of the light cycles that MJ needs to grow and then to flower, you need to plant ya seeds out when the last of the frosty nights have gone and the light hours are at least 14 hrs day 10 hrs dark or your plants will go into flower straight away and yeild you bugger all as you gave them no veg time

anyhoo do some searches and you will find all you need

Cheerz
