AUTHORITIES in Texas have filed corpse-abuse charges against two men who allegedly dug up a skull from a grave and used it as a bong.

 

 

The Harris County District Attorney's Office said yesterday that abuse of corpse charges had been filed in the case.

 

One of the men allegedly told police they dug up a grave in an abandoned cemetery in the woods, removed a head from a body and smoked marijuana using the skull as a bong.

 

Police found the cemetery and a grave that had been disturbed but were still investigating the rest of the story, officials said.

 

 

Not the most pleasing pot news, but off-beat? Yes

Maybe more sick bastards around than we think too. When I finished high school (many moons ago), one of my close mates went into his family business as a stone mason at the local cemetary. One of his jobs each day was to dig holes to bury people, usually by machine but in old family plots he had to do it by hand, where they couldn't manipulate a machine in amongst the established graves.

 

Just joking one day I asked him next time they resumed a grave to scor eme a skull. They resume graves for different reasons from time to time.

 

Of course I was joking, but it started him on telling me how many freaks stop by the cemetary asking for just that thing. they offer hundreds (back then that was a lot of dough) for a skull. Mainly bikers, but sometimes people into weird "religous" practices. He said some got quiet heavy about asking too.

 

Anyway, he reckoned hardly a week went by without someone asking for a skull.

Naycha, maybe the bong aspect was just fitted inside the brain cavity, with the cone protriding on a normal stem from the "mouth"? I agree, the skull itslef would be terribly hard to seal, and pretty difiuclt to fashion into the right aspects.

Seems like a real numbskull thing to do, kinda brainless and thoughtless...

 

Seriously but, has it ever made anyone else wonder just why it is, that if you go dig up the grave of someone to do this, and the deceased was white, or at least part of the present community to some extent, even without living relatives, and it's called "grave robbing".

Go into the jungle, and dig up the remains of people who don't have lawyers and so on, and it's called "anthropology" or somthing akin to a very respectable scientific name...even if the family decendants are looking on ...
