Growbox temp.

I've been wondering how many degrees above the ambient temp. other peoples boxes run at?

 

At the moment mine is about 10-15 above ambient, but could be improved without too much fuss (I hope)

i run a 600 watt MH/HPS in a closet 3x5x7 and getting temps to stay in the 70 to 87f range has turned me into a wizard of the changing formulas...

i have a fresh outside air intake so it's even more challenging, especially since im doing it on the cheap...i have a hardcover book i put partly over the fresh air intake, an oil filled thermostatically controlled electric heater and a air cooled glass hood...as the seasons change im flipping the book around, turning the heater up or down and moving the remote ballast in and out, the exhaust fan runs 24/7, that's the only constant...there are times when it's cooler/hotter than i like but overall the plants do well......it's me that needs a rest after tuning it up
