How to keep your room full

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

Im still in my first grow at the moment in the flower stage, i had 4 plants in 6 pots (3 = male, 1 = female) I was gonna let the male pollinate the female to get more seeds because i only have 10. I was told not to do this though so i ripped out the males *crys* and just kept the female. So i took some cuttings off the female in an attempt to clone. My question is, is this the easiest way to keep the room full? Also if im in the early stages of flower and once the clones are ready to go back into the grow room wont i have to switch lights and nutes back to grow, how will this effect the mother? Any feedback is loved.. Cheers :bangin:

Keep a mother room. :bangin: Have a small room, (wardrobe perhaps) dedicated to keeping motherplants (smallish pots, kinda like bonsai only shorter term, 6-12 month old plants kept on veg with fluoros and regularly trimmed) of your strains, and an area for cloning. Problem solvered. lol

And if you switch your lights back up in the flowering room your flowering plants will try to revert to vegetative growth.

6 pots to begin with, room could hold 10 but my my long term goal is 8 for now.

Its just i have 2x 600w lights running for 1 plant at the moment.. Id like there to be 6 plants in there :bangin:

That mother plant idea is not a bad idea.. I might look into that

With that small number of plants I don't even think that you would need a mum plant - just take 8-10 clones off the vegging plants and then root them, hold them in a slow growth pattern then when the room has finished flowering place the new clones in for a bit of veg, take more clones for next time and flip em to flower...

Really depends on what suits your area.
