1st time harvesting

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I am just about to harvest my first plant ever and my head is spinning with all the different info on what to do next. As far as i know i need cut the plant and then hang the branches upside down in a cupboard???????

How long do i do this for and what do i do next? I am in no rush for it and i will be doing this in Victoria where it has got cool all of a sudden. Will this affect the drying process??

Any help would be appreciated!

seeing as how it has become fairly cold over the last couple of weeks it will take a bit longer for the buds to dry which will increase your chances of the buds going a little mouldy :) to reduce the chance of mould getting a chance to cause any damage you will need to do a few things like manicuring before hanging the buds up, removing as much stem as you can before it becomes impossible to hang the buds up, making sure the air gets exchanged fairly often and most importantly you need to have air flowing around the buds while they are drying.

its fairly easy to do all that, in reality you just need to trim the buds before hanging them up, put an oscilating fan infront of them and open a window :)
