Murdoch
G`day There, I am interested in the VaporGenieFrom what I have read they seem a great bit of kit ?Can you tell me which model you prefer ?I like the look of extra length of the Exotic Hardwood model but the wooden threads concern meThe original Ash wood looks a sturdier model but I wonder how much hotter the shorter lengthed pipe is ?Any concerns about importing them into Australia ? I appreciate any feedback/info you can give me Cheers Murdoch

freddie
Hey Murdoch, nothing worse than getting no replies. I have used the genie for over a year now and i'm happy with it. Different stone to smoking; clearer more in the head. The genie took a little while to get used to and i can't compare it to other vapes as this is the only one I've used. Didn't know there were two versions. I would imagine I have the shorter one (10cm) and heat is no issue at all. I still have the odd joint and I have to admit I prefer the effect slightly over the vape experience but for health reasons vaping is the way to go. Still thinking of getting a volcano. I bought mine from within Australia from freewheelin' but I don't think he's operating any more. There are some reviews in the paraphernalia section.https://cannabis.community.forums.ozstoners...showtopic=12279
pipeman
The vaporgenie is a good pipe and works well. I have both models of the vaporgenie and they are basically the same the only difference is in the shape/length. You should also check out www.vaporstar.co.uk I have one of these and prefer it to the genie. I know a few people who have ordered direct from that site they give good service and orders usually arrive within a week. btw I just noticed on the vaporstar site they are selling it with a micro pipe. They weren't selling this pipe when I bought mine, but by coincidence I bought one of these micro pipes to use with the vaporstar and it works pretty good and great for portability. I paid $20 for mine and vaporstar only charge an extra 5 pounds for it so its worth getting IMO. It was funny seeing them selling the exact same pipe I use for mine, its like they stole my idea, beforee I even thought of it...
brick
I have bothe sizes of the genie and find the shorter one works best for me. I just took me five minutes to type that last sentence, the keys on the keyboard kept changing, that is after one pipe. A lot easier on the lungs. A bit of practise to get the flame right height. But a lot of fun practising.

gouger
I dunno .. you all have your own vaporiser in your exhaust fan. Go sit there for free. Truly though I have always thought why hasn't anyone distilled a perfume from this plant? I am wondering about vaporisers .. what techniques are used in these vaporisers? Are they any different from the vaporisers you can buy in any chemist? Edited May 24, 2008 by gouger
BlackBeauty
gouger, some vapourisers have special thermostats on them and you will able to set it to the just the right temperature for your chosen herb whether that be mj, rosemary, sage etc.... the ones in chemists generally don't allow this level of control....
