Ausies Help Me. Im Thinking Of Moving To Australia To Grow

Hi Grok , thank u for the warm welcome.. ur name sounds familiar were you on advanced nutrients forums or on overgrow in the past?

nope..only on this board..i did about ten posts on grasscity with 'grok' as a handle but that account is finished now.... I then discovered OZ Stoners which is my home now ..though i use other boards for research purposes.

..never had the pleasure of surfing the OG since i only started studying cannabis sites last year.

 

 

 

I think we may be confusing ourselves.... 1000 watt light runnign per hour = 1 kilowatt hour so 6 lights runing for 12 hours = 62 klowatt hours per day + fans, ac and all the other good stuff easily adds up to 90+ kilowat hours .. therfore a 150+ kilowatt hours per day would be 10-12 light set up ...... it would be nice to have 150 killwats per hour going hahah thats like a 120 light setup.... in time ( winkie winkie)

I do soil pots and tables currnetly learning hydro-grodan on tables.....getting a taste of everything.

 

How accesablie is equipment in OZ are there lots of hydro stores? maybe i could get some stuff shipped

 

You should come to Adelaide South Australia, more hydro stores than any other city in australia and its not a big city so if that says anything.. South Australia, despite a crack down in laws (Used to be able to grow 10 plants $150 fine no record, now only ONE) is still a growing epicentre and you probably wont go to jail for as long if you got busted growing big as in other states but I'm no lawyer, I just know of some people that got off pretty light for a lot of fucking plants, may depend of the judge, bit of corruption here. There are dealers that the cops dont touch I seem to have noticed The prices are almost half that of anywhere else in the country as a result but the whole country is so scarce at the moment that I swear most of the gear been grown in SA is coming straight off the plant and off to the east coast cos I aint seeing none of it yet the Hydro stores are always busy as whenver I go in there, plenty of people growing it but bugger all of it been sold here..

Maybe AN cuz i had a diff handle at OG, although i wasn;t using AN products an didn;t post there much just had a buddy over there an was some good dwc on AN.

 

plenty of hydro stuff in australia but cant get the full AN range due to import laws, check their shop an it tells ya what can an cant be bought/sold in oz.

Yea 1 year into it hows the journey been this far? hahaha soon enough seeing how there are no power resscricitons like here its much more of a possibly to do it in Austrialia

Mate if you wanna make a truckload of money come here with some good genetics like Kodiak Gold etc and start up a seedbank , you will never look back ...

hey blood hsot , thanks for the post... this is good stuff to know.... soe corruption is always nice wouldnt be supirsed if its chilhood freinds turning a blind eye for a lil cutbakc on the side.. good for them ... everyone is happy and the girls grow in peace ..... why is it so scarce right now, what are the prices in SA as apposed to the east?? another oz stoner member mentioned that too? do cops in austriaal use infrared?

haha no nojail time for me thanks.... to be honest i dont know much about making seeds im sure i could learn but is there as much money in seeds as in buds?access to very good genetics is no problem same with shipping ... klodiak gold?? not familair.... what about OG kush, Purple kush,cherrybomb, grapfruit, northern lights,jamacain.juicy,hash plant.. do any of those tickle ur fancy?

I'm only a bong head who cant grow ones own yet so I dont buy any bigger than Oz's and they go for $200 in Adelaide. From what I've heard pounds vary alot in price due to alot of different things.. But I've heard $2000 up to $3500 and even as low as $1500 but I'm probably not the best person to ask about those prices cos I've never brought a pound in my life .. I dont really know for sure why its so scarce across our country at the moment, I think its a combination of things (some people that used to sell weed now sell meth may have something to do with it) but for someone trying to make a quick buck, now is probably the time to do it cos there would be no shortage of buyers after good stuff, just dont go pissing off the Bikies or Mafia, that could be a bigger concern than the law for a big grower in a foreign country.

In south australia in recent years crime sydicates have been renting houses and growing smallish set ups of 20-50 plants or so, spread out over alot of different houses, seems to be the preffered method, alot easer to go undetected I guess. And I think there is some threshold of plant numbers like 50 or something where you do a hell of alot more time if you go over and get caught, best to ask a lawyer that.

Mates rates most probably but your looking at the higher end of the scale I mentioned at the moment around 3g's. Cos of the warm sunny climate here in summer I usually find outdoor to be pretty potent actually. And yeah as soon as I get my own place rented, should be soon, I'm getting a grow tent and no more lining the pockets of other people with my hard earned cash
