bufo marinus Posted March 7, 2008 Report Share Posted March 7, 2008 Looks like an incorrect pH or nutrient problem, and sounds like it if your not setting the pH. Don't underestimate the importance of setting and maintaining a correct pH, it is key in getting the best out of your nutrient, even more so if the nutrient has low buffering capacity.If the pH is allowed to rise much above 6.0, over half the essential nutrients (especially calcium, sulphate and the trace elements copper, iron, manganese and zinc) can become unavailable for transport by the water flow to the roots.
