Season time in perth

Recommended Posts

Don't start me on the tomato culture....I can't shut up!

But having said that, there are these nifty little things called "Wall of Water" that will allow both plants to be set out a month or so early. The plants will strike a root system that will cause amazing plant growth once the cloches are removed, and give you a good head start. They're like water filled tee pees, and they keep the seedlings warm through even a hard freeze and ice.

Hi, I live in Perth and I have managed to get multiple crops in one summer. its piss easy, as long as you have a shed which is perfectly light proof. (dark inside).

Start your seeds at the start of september, let them grow till they are about 1 foot, (about a month) then, start 'artificially' forcing them to flower by putting them in your totally dark shed at 6pm, and bringing them out again at 6am. this is like putting indoor plants on 12/12. You should get a harvest about mid december depending on the strain. You can do this all summer if you like, as long as the daylight will keep plants in veg!

But your shed must have minimal light leeks mind you. If you can see your hand in front of your face, you need to get to work with the panda film and gaffa tape...

These where harvested a few days before christmas '04.

Rosey, you have the concept already, jut switch it around fir winter.

Start them in ya shed, just a set of 4 x 4 foot fluoros will do more than fine. They will raise a dozen or so clones to 12 inches tall. Then just set the 12 inch plants outside in the natural winter and let them finish off out there.A lot easier in fact as u dont have to be moving them every day. U will get less, becuase light intensity is reduced, but you willget 70% of your usual crop.

cheers
