Acid Grass

When I was a kid we used to get stuff periodically that turned ya bum hole inside out. Really fucked you up, and it felvery similar to acid; which I suppose is why we called it acid grass. The last time I smoked soemthing like this, was a very tight but light bud I bought an oz of, that had come from South Asutralia about 7 (maybe 6) years ago. It was wild, the kinda stuff that makes you think someone else is int he room with ya. Certainly not the kinda grass you'd let someone with bad nevers come into.

 

I have no idea what it was, I bought it as an excuse to drop in on a mate's son who was selling bags, and before I moved away i just wanted to see if he was alright. Buying the bag was just a rouse.

 

The buds were white, maybe flecks of orange, but that's guessing now, the best I can recall was the very pale tone. Very tight and very light, which I suppose was the result of some additive to make heavier weight, duno but for sure.

 

If flowering time, and plant height were of no concern, nor harvest weight a concern..and any strain in the world could be got hold of, what would everyone suggest would be the plant to buy for this kinda high?

I see THSeeds have S.A.G.E. which they claim is 20% THC and virtually no CBN or CBD...I've never grown nevilles haze, but that has a similar reputation. Hell, c999 was supposed to be trippy years ago and I never found it to be such. Nice smoke and all, but not powerful .

 

Anyone tried anything that fits the bill? heard of anything even?

 

I'd really appreciate it.

we did belladonna from paradise and that was trippyish, im a heavy smoker and not unaccustomed to other things so it never got me as good as it did some other people, but i did find my self walking into things and a bit of a lack of coordination and a very strange stoned, paradise seeds do another strain called opium, that's ment to be a trippy almost hallucinogenic stone as is belladonna but opium is a newer variety and from what i hear is a bit stronger. the other one i smoked that was nice was skywalker from dutch passion, i had a dutch bloke say to me "you should try this weed it is stronger than the acid i have" which i didnt agree but it was very strong, i guess he just took so much acid that the pot was stronger to him. any how have a look at those 3 and see what others say, the only other stuff i have had like it we where getting from an old bloke who grew in a rainforest and some of his buds had an orange not mould but like a fungus growing on bits of it, he said not to worry and it was his best stuff and it was what he was smoking and that was some of the strongest stuff i ever smoked so far as trippy and smashed at the same time, i still to this day have no idea what it was, any how all the best.

Might have been silver haze? I know of a bloke who used to grow large quantities of the stuff about 6 or 7 years ago but he got busted. Was very psychoactive shit..

I haven't had gear with a high like that for over 20 years, which is why I keep saying I don't think pot is as strong now. Some hippies near Bellingen grew some with an effect like that. Also some imported thai was a bit like that. It has to exist somewhere in the world.

ahhh beautiful angels dust weed...some of the best. It's, and this is just an assumption, that the weed was laced with PCP. It's actually kinda common to come across weed like that if you get it from the street, or someone you know got it from the street. I used to buy a bit of that not long back. Lost contact though. But yes, trippppy stuff. Colours in vision, bit of the shakes, closed eye visuals, feeling of being a bit distant from reality. When I smoked it with friends, cars beeping their horns normally made me freak out some huge had happened.

I miss it a lot....

But if what your talking about is genuine clean weed, let us know when u find it. Damn, I would wanna grow it soo bad.

NAmate, it wasn't laced, at least the stuff in my past wasn't. hell, I never even heard of PCP except in yanky movies.

 

Like Freddie said, grass used to be harder hitting than it is now. The dutch crosses have made grass very generic, and although you get stronger strains here and there, when I was a kid (20-30 years ago, you'd get strains periodically that made time stand still. Not visual hallucinations or anything, but very trippy stuff.

i came across similar shit 10-15 years ago there abouts was really when hydro seemed to take over the market , the way you described it sounds similar to wat i use to get , always assumed it was a type of skunk , white and furry on the outside darker in the middle , the aboriginals fellas i new always seemed to have it it sometimes looked like almost little bindis , fuckin wicked shit , face changin stuff ... yeh havnt seen that for awhile ... we reffered to it at the time as skunk ?

The first couple times I had smoke like I'm thinking, skunk hadn't even been heard of, not where I lived at least.

I recall once sitting in a car parked on the side of the road in a suburb called Nundah, a very cramped piece of shit traffic. I heard a V.W. come from waht seemed like a mile away, it became defening for what seememd like eternity next to us on the road, and then faded away in again what seememd like forever. Time had stood still, just like a mushroom trip might.

 

What was amazing isn't that it happened to me, which is understandbale, but my mate who was supposed to be driving, but had given up at that stage turned to me and said "did you fuckin hear that?", and elaborated on how it felt like eternity and how all sound in the world had been drowned out, except this deafening V.W.

 

For both of us to have experienced the same trip is a aunting thing to consider.

 

Another time some kiwis who had newly arrived in Aus had some grass for sale. I worked with a girl who was living with this crew. At the time, a seedy bag of heads was going for around 80 dollars. A "clean" bag (although still of course had seeds and sztems) was 120, but these people wanted 180 bux!!

I said I wanted a smoke of it before i even consideredf such a price, this was about 1988, and believe me, that price was like paying 5 or 6 hundred now.

I really had no intention on buying a bagh, I just wanted to seee how they could claim it was worth so much. I took a cone from them, got half way through and before it was gone I was spinnning. I couldn't dfinish the cone and simply stood in the kitchen for an eternity hipeing I wasn't going to throw up.

I got int he car to drive home, and got to a set of traffic lights just a few hundred meters from home. A truck crossed my path as i sat at the lights, and time again stood still. I leapt from the car, leaving it running and was walking in circles on the road wondering what to do. Eventually the lights changed, pressure to do something hit me and I made the last few hundred meters home, but just barely.

 

I went thirds in an oz with my father, his mate and myself to get that gear. It was "bud" shaped heads, something we weren't used to then. heads usually were sativa long thin shapoed things with seeds and stems all through it. These were clean buds, and each bud rolled a perfect sized three paper joint, and was enough to totally waste 4 heavy smokers for hours.

 

If skunk was around then, we weren't in the know, in fact we hadn't even heard of sinsemella except in ed rosenthals and mel franks marijauna handbook 9the one withthe 4 pics of columbian plants onth e cover printed in the late 60s or early 70s. I dare say skunk was around, in Europe and maybe some select Aus spots, but this was never sen of again that I know of. These kiwiws moved ona nd that was the end of that.

 

from time to time back then we'd get awsomely powerful smoke, like freddie said. We got Thai back then which made ya loose track of who you were, listening to Peter frampton was like going on a space journey .

 

Since I've been privvy to these dutch varieties, I've had consistently "stronger" weed, but essentially boreing weed. I mean the average bag from the era I'm recalling was very so/so, with the occasional majic stuf thrown in. Now days you buy abag of buds and you know it's gonna be fairly strong, but you also know exactly what it's going to do to you to a lagre extent. the msytery is gone..

 

Anyway, that's my TRIP down memory lane. This Beladonna sounds very interesting, but at 20 pounds, ....seems odd for soemthing so interestng to be so cheap. is it hard to get a pheyno that does the right job or something? I'd have thought strong trippygrass like this Beladonna would have been dear as poison you now... I wonder if there are any landrace Jamacian strains anymore? I dunno if I ever smoked any in my life, but I'm just thinking if anyone saved good old genetics, surely they would have wouldn;t they?

There's still inetersing stuff around. Just a couple months back I went half's in an Oz with a mate. Smelled pretty nice, buds consistent an all but didn't seem anything special. The high was not immediatly obvioulsy powerfull or anything more subtle but really mind warping. Real atmosphere sensitive stuff. One night both me an said mate were smoking this stuff out in a park at night and became overwhelmed with paranoia, hearing shit, even seeing shit out the corner of the eye that was kinda distorted I guess. Tripped balls to put it mild. Then on another occasion in public lots of people around and we are totally without paranoia and behaving extremly silly, laughing, kackling even and the world is kinda shiny. Not obviously so just somehow seems like it is. And the other effect is sitting inside in a safe comfortable setting with people you are comfortable with its just mellow, not even that silly, but alone at night, you think into shit way too much and over annylise shit and paranoia rears its head again. Overall a pretty good score But I do come across some trippy shit from time to time, just no idea what strains they are and I agree that most shit just gets you ripped pretty similar to the last shit.
