well i want to grow marijuana but im a little confused . so ill say what i wanted to do and the questions i have. i was planning on just getting one seed and growing only one plant in my house, i live in australia in melbourne. ok my questions are firstly i would like to know where you get marijuana seeds? because that would help alot (dont think you can grow anything without seeds ) second is it worth the risk of only growing one plant? because if its a male i wasted my time also is there a way to garentee the plant to be a female? and my last question is there a way to speed up the growth so i could harvest it fairly early i guess the earlier the better but i still wan it to be decent. ok i think thats it thank you in advance Edited March 1, 2008 by John Howard

you definetly want to grow more than one seed..five or six should ensure at least one female....i planted three seeds a few months back..two germinated..and both turned out male

you can buy seeds from an overseas seedbank..planetskunk is often reccomended on this site..check out the seedbank reviews on this site.

you can buy 'feminsied seeds' which have a higher probablity of being female.

you can also buy seeds that will finish earlier than others thus getting a harvest quicker..

 

theres a lot to learn...so i suggest spending a lot of time studying all the info available on this site and others....but hey its a helluva fun hobby!!

Don't wait just stick a seed in in a pot and hope for the best

but we all have killed our plants and had males its all part of the

nice new hobby to take up if i were u i would get clones then ur guarrneted there girls, but that all depends if u can get that access... optherwise get a few feminized seeds .. some of them wont make it others will .. that way u ll at least havea few plant to larn from ... i have never heard of strains harvesating faster then 7 wekks... if u find them let m eknow pleaaase hahah... another thing that woudl help u use if u get seeds if u want tthe to sproat... wet a some toilet paper and wrpa the seedsin it and place on a plate onto p of waomething warm, like computer monitior ofrtower it will help them sporat faster.. good luck and good growing ::D

no...that is not true, and it requires handling of a very delicate root sprout which is only necessary to the curiosity of the grower.

Beans planted at 2x the width of the bean in Jiffy pellets and put on a heat mat will break surface in 3 days.

 

There is no magic trick to making a seed sprout faster.
