Rudd has stated that, true, but I wouldn't be terribly surprised if we see a lessening of the intensity regardless. Don't forget that Rudd isn't the government, he's just the leader, and the left side of the Labor Party is very much in favour of reform in this way.

 

I'll poke the ANCD and see if I can get some more info from them on this subject... i.e. when, who etc...

Also I was wondering, considering most of the States have been Labor run for years, and the laws have always got tougher, not more lenient, who was you thinking would want to reform the laws, in our favour?
