I wanted to post this in a new thread so that it gets attention, (the real thread is like a road sign, people ignore it if they have read it)

What happened in 2007 in relation to Cannabis.

There would have to be a bit about Mark Emery, surely. He has done a lot to promote our cause, whether you believe he did more damage than good is irrelavent, he still caused a stir and must be included IMO.

Can anyone think of anything else that should be included, in the update?? If so please reply.

Also, who has the ability to be able to write it so that it fits in with the original writings? AlFish or Al.B.Fuct maybe??

Hey Bob from Bobsville. I am glad this site is dedicated to mature audiences, because I would have a hard time explaining to my young boys, why Bob has a bong.

<edit>

back on topic, I found these, but I haven't looked to see if they are actually included in the list. They are in regard to Australia specifically.

1926

Following the 1925 Geneva Convention Concerning the Suppression of the Manufacture of, Internal Trade in, and Use of Prepared Opium, the Commonwealth bans the import and export of cannabis (Customs Proclamations nos 134 & 135).

Amendments to the Crimes Act bans unlawful revolutionary associations.

1977

Australian Royal Commission of Inquiry into Drugs established by the Commonwealth, Victorian, Tasmanian, Western Australian & Queensland Governments and headed by Justice E.S. Williams. It recommended increased law enforcement of drug control and the establishment of a Australian Bureau of Criminal Intelligence.

1981

Royal Commission of Inquiry into Drug Trafficking established by the Commonwealth, NSW, Victorian & Queensland Governments and headed by Justice D.G. Stewart. It makes 102 recommendations in the areas of law enforcement agencies, criminal intelligence systems, police powers, complaints against police, deportation and extradition and financial investigations

So we have Mark Emery getting busted and all the extradition crap

we have the cannabis law fall in Canada (or something like that, who knows exactly - alison??)

we had that idiot called antonio maria costa or whatever from the UN comparing Canabis to Heroin

we have Cannabis being claimed of America's no3 cash crop? (something like that, what was it?)

How many US states legalised med use in 2007??

we had how many politicians claiming previous use??

who can answer these questions, and who can think of other things relavent?????

Sorry, I missed this thread. I wouldn't have started the 'hard attitude' thread if I had seen in.

In QLD 2007 is a watershed year because of a tough official attitude toward MJ and the banning of bongs.

And then on top of that there is the misinformation and lies peddaled by various levels of government.

To me 2007 is the year things MJ turned pear shaped in OZ in general and QLD in particular.
