aphids and natural ways to kill them

Recommended Posts

lady bugs will wipe those bastards out no problems and they wont act like ladies about it either...they'll tear them in 2 and eat them one by one until they are all gone and once that happens they'll either move on or die ;)

but if lady bugs are hard to come by you can always use my favourite bug killer which isnt organic, but it will wipe those bastards out in no time at all. its called maverik, its made by yates and will set you back about $13 from big-w :D

another alternative

i use a product called ECO OIL

available from bunnings..

if u can take ya mum outdoors

the cooler weather of a night will help

and spraying with a hose will shake them free

u can also get a wee vacuum and shake and vacuum as they fly

just be sure to freeze the bag then burn..

just a few suggestions

another altwernative to the ECO OIL

is a starch base spray called PEST OFF

all the best

bil

there are millions of organic recipes

soft soaps and chilli garlic combos with pepers works well to

Hi, Aphids are a pain in the ass,you can use soapy water to get rid of them, make sure you wipe under the leaves thats were they like to hang out and on the stems of the plant.Oh yeah and for some reason Ants and aphids go hand in hand.

so made sure your room is free from ants too.you have to keep at them too,yah just cant wipe your plant over once, yah have to do it every 4 days or so,coz those little fucker breed fast,so if yah leave just one on there in another week or so there will be heaps back
