shade leaves

Recommended Posts

Yea only one suggestion ..

Dont ever remove any leaves at all until they are withered, dry and devoid of any trace of green colour and are prepared to drop off by themselves with an ever-so gentle touch ... and i mean gentle as in 'with the force of a mouse's fart'

the only exception to this rule is if you are growing plants under a screen as in scrog .

The mighty and glorious Cannabis plant knows more about what is needed to produce big fat potent buds than you or I will ever know,

so really it is fool-hardy to try and second guess the plant's decison to retain or cast off leaves ..

these are only the opinions of a simple grower who has in the past thought that he knows better

Years ago there was a school of thought that pulling these larger leaves off allowed more light in to the plant and made bigger heads. Where the light was supposed to be going, when you pulled the leaves off is a big question though.

I reckon this is where they got the name "shade leaves" believing they "shaded" the plant.

I think all leaves are "sun leaves". All gathering vital juice from the sun, making the plant all the time more able to make sugars or whatever they do to make the plant grow.
