Indoor Organics

I grow indoor organically and lately I haven't been able to get my main ingredient; worm castings. I live in Brisbane and every nursery, produce store, hardware i go just stare at me blankly when I ask about worm castings. If anyone knows where I can get some please let me know. I never get deficiency problems if I use the worm poo. If I can no longer get the poo what do I do? Any alternatives?

I am also wondering if anyone can suggest ways of improving my technique. I normally just mix about 50% castings with maybe 35% coir and 15 % perlite or vermiculite. I also mix in some blood and bone and some Maxicrop 100% organic with seaweed. This isn't as exact as it sounds; it varies heaps. I water with tap water mostly but also a couple of applications of liquid organix seaweed something or other (cant remember the exact name). Theres nothing really exact in what I do. Most of the decisions I make are based on gut feeling and grow experience.

The plants seem healthy but I am sure I can fine tune this. The yields aren't great but they're acceptable. Nothing like what I used to get with hydroponics.

Any ideas anyone?
