Marijuana Vending Machines!

Recommended Posts

Well rock my soul in the bosom of Abraham: A Bud Vending Machine! Holy Shit! I have a good relationship with my doctor. I'd be down at that old vending machine so often my fingers would be permanently dyed. On a first-name basis with all the guards!

And I'd have a lot of real sick friends too. People for whom a smoke and a coffee could mean everything in the world – almost.

Allow restaurants to establish themselves. Eateries that would cook your medicine into any style you wanted; background music; some magazines and a little incense. Think of all the boutiques and art that would bloom like the flowers of spring amid the laughter and peace.

But we can't have any of that shit; cause we're marching hand-in-hand to Armageddon.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

Or as Mark Twain so elegantly opined,''The World is run by very intelligent people who are having us on, or by imbeciles who mean what they say.”

I Was in the railways and they introduced vending machines to sell train tickets. Similarly vending machines have taken the place of other people in jobs that have been institutional.

Thousnads of people lost their jobs when train tickets became dispensed by vending machines.

I forsee union disputes arrising here. Dealers everywhere unite! I want my pot from a human, in a car park with dim light, .....drug dealers unite!! I say boycott the machine.

Let the machine control the pot, and the machine will control you.

these are grave times....

i couldn't give a toss about giving a finger print if it means we got those machines here in oz. what's a finger print worth anyway unless you've done something wrong. i reckon instead of a vending machine though, they should just have a room filled with smoke. present your 'i'm here to get ripped' ID card and then you get a certain amount of time in heaven.

California approves marijuana vending machines

January 29, 2008 - 10:14AM

Patients in California can now buy legal medical marijuana through a vending machine at a herbal nutrition centre in Los Angeles.

Starting this week, they will go through security, submit their prescription, pay and pick up their drugs.

Store employees call it a safe, fast way to order prescriptions.

Vince Mehdizadeh, Owner of Herbal Nutrition Centre said, "They'll slide a card to get into the store after hours. They'll be greeted by a security guard right there.

"They'll slide card in and they'll fingerprint in to verify that it's them. A camera takes a picture of them, verifying that they're actually at the machine. And they get the medicine and they move on."

The state will start with two prescription vending machines offering medical marijuana.

Owners believe they could become as common as pop machines.

It even got reported in the Sydney morning herald. It must have a few Aussies scratching their heads after all the anti-pot propaganda of the last few years.

It is a pity the International Narcotics Control Board, have a different idea.

VIENNA, 8 February (UN Information Service) -- "The International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) is deeply concerned about reports that computerized vending machines to dispense cannabis (marijuana) have been put into operation in Los Angeles," said Dr. Philip O. Emafo, President of the Board. The Board concludes its 91st session today in Vienna. "We know that the use of cannabis is illegal under federal law of the United States and we trust the authorities will stop such activities, which contravene the international drug control treaties," he added.
