Holy crap, what country is LA in? I mean, last time I was there I was surprised enough at the billboards offering medicinal marijuana cards, but this is insane. Starting on Monday, people who have medical conditions such as glaucoma, cancer, and the deadly not-stoned-enough virus can start getting their fat buds from special "AVMs."

 

These electronic drug dealers won't be out on the street next to a Pepsi machine, of course. No, they'll be "housed in standalone rooms, abutting two dispensaries and protected by round-the-clock security guards." To use them, you'll need to go with a prescription in hand, get fingerprinted and get a prepaid credit card that's loaded up with your dosage and what strain of weed you want. Yeah, no joke, the pharmacists in LA give you a choice between OG Kush and Granddaddy Purple. In the future, the machines may also be outfitted to sell other popular drugs such as Viagra, Vicodin and Propecia. Combine all four for a really interesting night that'll also slowly grow your hair back!

 

And here I was thinking New York City was a liberal town. When do we get weed vending machines, Bloomberg? Huh?

If the DEA decide to raid then then they will get all those lovely ID's with fingerprints to match. The move doesn't suprise me too much though as governer Arnie is on record saying that marijuana is not what he considers a drug, some of our pollies should get to know him better instead of sucking up Bush's arse.

I knew you would get it Bucket! The actual line was "But I am you daughter." I was so wasted last night I laughed until I cried from making that post...

 

The requirements of the vending machine are not very different than buying at a club. I guess you have to see it to really believe it. But you can indeed get a doctor to give you a card, take your California Id plus the card, and go to the store and buy an oz of some of the finest weed you have ever tasted! You can buy seed, and edibles, honey oil and hash as well.

 

There really are billboards for medical marijuana there, I took a pic of one, let me see if the kid still has it in her camera, I'll post it if she does.

It seems the Feds really don't bother with the buyers when they come to raid the shops. They just take the inventory and shut them down for a day.

If they did more they would have half of the huge state of California locked up.
