Recommended Posts

My latest Blog...

I know it's not totally accurate. I got the same News leak that everyone else got... I'll mention that later...

I'll write the real story next Blog. After today, Marc is back in court February 22, 2008 to find out....

Marc Emery gets Ten years - to serve Five… and much more!

An amazing roller coaster of week for us anti-prohibitionists, so much so that I haven’t even had time for my Blog!

My head is still spinning. For once it’s not from the plethora of pills I take to control MS symptoms including violent pain, but from two huge events.

Three actually.

If you can count my 44th Birthday!

Before Christmas I once again ran out of cannabis. After mentioning this to a few good friends on line, I was overwhelmed with over twenty three packages of raw cannabis, a variety of other items including home made gifts, t-shirts and cannabis memorabilia and some beautiful Birthday cards from all over the World! We also Won a huge Canadian Lawsuit the day BEFORE my Birthday!

What an incredible week!

Looking ahead, I’m scheduled to appear on CTV’s The Verdict with Dan Matheson to discuss federal court judge Barry Strayer’s amazing medical marijuana ruling, my history with cannabis regarding my health and possibly Marc Emery’s plea agreement of five years in Jail with my dear friend and Lawyer, Osgoode Hall Professor, Alan Young.

Two of these stories caught everyone by surprise. Judge Strayer wasn't due back with his answer until the Spring of 2008. Something or someone obviously told him we needed and answer sooner rather than later... AND Marc Emery copped a plea - Ten Years in U.S. and Canadian Prisons to serve five mostly in Canada. He says - "to save Michelle and Greg'' but we'll see...

In twenty-five pages judge Strayer opened Canada’s medical marijuana industry to private competition striking down a provision prohibiting med-cannabis producers from growing for more than one person. The government provided no explainable reason for having the provision, according to Strayer.

He suggests that larger growers serving many customers would be easier to inspect and regulate than the current small single producers.

Here's a Link to a great story on the Judge in NOW Magazine:

His ruling will have a big impact on my Life. Thank God there are sensible, compassionate and responsible people in these Judicial positions...

So Marc Emery plead out.

Read for yourselves how our Country feels about his doing this...

There were many articles written about Marc this past week, including one each in the Globe and Mail and the National Post our Countries two main papers, but this one in NOW Magazine really caught my eye:

Please excuse the vulgar language near the end of the article...
