Seed Germination

Seed germination is very easy, get some seed raising mix, stick the seed in, water it and hope for the best. To get that little bugger the right start in life, when the seed is in the mix, water it with a solution of trace elements. Yes trace elements. You keep using the trace element solution until true leaves are form, then use your normal ferts.

I'll try this next time because I've previously only used moistened paper towelling to germinate seeds (many years since though)....

i put cotton wool with some water in a sealed container. beans pop in a few days.

i just drop the beans in a cup

filled with plain water

usually within 2 days the seeds have cracked

ready for placement in medium

if i use a jiffy puck

i like to wait for a few leafs before commencing any nutes..

how long in total does ya process take?

till they are on 1st true leafs?

I find it helpful to put the seed in the soil 1 cm, regularly mist and every 3 days use some seasol in the spray bottle.
