Sunshine Coast Seasons?

Hey guys. I was just wondering if anyone knows about how early in the season you can plant outdoors around the sunny coast. Also how many harvests you could get out of one year. I'm new to this so i know pretty much bugger all, but i have heard the general planting time in Oz is end of winter/start of spring (sept-oct). I was thinking maybe it's fairly warm up there so the cold might not be such an issue? Any info would be great.

september this year was rather cold still, i was trying to get some seeds up and i think the temp had a lot to do with no success. oct-nov might see you have better luck with harvest time around late march, april, may, dependant on strain really. you might be able to start earlier if your growing area is in full sun from earlier in the morning?? a lot of frosts on the sunny coast in 2007 winter too right up till the end of winter, start of summer even, doesnt do a lot for a young plant or seedling hey. what ever you decide to grow try to get a strain that is relatively mould resistant as our humidity is quite high and the amount of rain we have had could be enough to ruin a otherwise good crop.out door you would usually go for 1 main crop for the year although it all depends on when you have planted too, what you have planted, flowering length of the strain.
