could you tell me what's wrong with my baby

she is a swazi redbeard

about 6 weeks old i think

 

here are her new mates only about 2 weeks old

the one in the front is a alien NLX

the other is kiwi 2 pounder

lookn a bit light in the green there. Are you feeding them anything at all apart from water? give a light dose of veg nutes & the green should come back.

how much sun they getting as they look a bit streched from the ground to the water leaves.

Yep the sunlight is to low only about 6hrs of direct sun

it's the only place I can grow.

 

Have only give her a few hits of liquid seaweed fertilizer

Have you checked you soil PH, it should be around 7.0 to 7.2? I can see you also have a slow release fertiliser in you soil, are there any ofther fertilisers in there as well?

Just added the slow release fertiliser you can see

24hrs before the photo was taken

 

the pot is about 4ft long by about 20cm*20cm

think 30L

 

this 1st bit of the pot about 10-15cm has just good potting mix

water crystals a bit of slow release now more on top

 

the rest has about

30% seed raising mix coir block

30% normal coir block

the rest is good potting mix

slow release fertiliser and water crystals

 

thought that way the roots would slowly grow into

the good stuff

 

not sure what the ph is i'll get a test kit

You can use one of these PH probes from K-mart or Bunnings, they are accurate enough for our purposes. You can get moisture ones too, they make it a bit easier to check the moisture levels in the soil.

Yeah defiantly looks like a PH lockout to me once ya get ya ph sorted it should pretty much start taking up nutes again which will fix ya problem and if not give it a tiny bit of urea in its water that will give it a good hit of nitrogen to get it green again and firing

 

also if ya aint planning on moving it to better light she gonna be a stretchy bitch so i would get ready for some LST action in not too distant future

just did a few PH test it's very low about 6.5 to 5..5

 

 

how would you guys up the PH

also i think ferts drop the ph
