I thought it would be good to meet at the Shrine of Remembrance (excuse the irony) and if the group feels like a walk head towards Federation Square, while we wait for it to get dark enough. We will be meeting outside the Northcote Town Hall and walking quietly to the Westgarth Cinema area in Westgarth (along High Street toward the Westgarth Street intersection). Vigil should last around 1.5 hours, ending in a friendly celebration of 'light in the darkness' in the various coffee shops in Westgarth. Please tell as many people as possible!

Franklin Square is a park for the people. Banners are allowed however this is a silent vigil with a short opening and closing address. The vigil will run from 7pm to 8pm. Silent vigils take patience and some may not want to stay the whole hour. Others may not be able to arrive right on 7pm. Come for as long as you can and show the strength of the people in Tasmania for peace.
