Harvest Question..

Hi all!

Im into day 72 of flowering now, im pretty sure all of the trichomes are half milky/cloudy (checked under 60x)

I did a full flush about 5 days ago now, i haven't fed them any nutes since a day before the flush and was wondering if this was a good idea? I want the trichomes to turn amber and was wondering if the lack of nutes might prevent this?

Would it be ok to just keep flushing/feeding with pH adjusted water and hope they turn amber in 10ish days?

Also i dont want to run the risk of over doing them so to speak, how much longer can i safely keep them going before trichomes begin to deteriorate?

I think you should be fine. Judge the ripeness by your eye rather than any numbers on a seed pkt.

The longer you leave them the more couchlock the high will be.

Not all go amber, if you see cloudy that's a good indication that you can cut and taste.

yep , just give them water.. also what youre looking for is all the main shade leaves to turn yellow and die off... this is a good sign the plant is taking all it can from the leaves.. will result in a tastier smoke as there isnt a lot of nutrients still stored in the plant... will cure better too..

as SS said the plant store nutes that i will then use in late flower and you will see the bigger shade leaves die off this is completely normal. I usually harvest at half milky half amber trichomes and this gives me a noice heady stone without being too couch locky

 

although i do have a little stash of some of my black death that i let go to 70 days instead of the usual 55-60 and i can tell ya that is one locky bitch lmfao

Thats good news, i didnt want to add nutes again so im glad i dont have to,

All of the trichomes are more or less cloudy, i cut off a couple of the top bits last week and its currently curing as we speak, so ill soon find out if its ok. Smells bloody nice

Is it really obvious by eye when they turn amber? Or will i have to get out the z00m sc0pe again? It was quite noticiable when they went from clear to cloudyish i thought, maybe i was just seeing things

Also i have no idea of the flowering times of these ladies, theyre just bagseeds but im willing to wait, ive waited this long hey..

All of the main leaves have fallen off i think, there is a couple, they all going yellow or white so i guess nutes are being sucked up fine, woohoo.
