scales that dont look like scales?

Recommended Posts

After each plant I grow I like to weigh it for personal reference. I only grow for personal but If im found with scales + my stash they would accuse me of dealing also which is just not worth the effort.

Im thinking about some kind of inconspicuous weighing system but really dont know where to start for now.

Ideas for constructing one?

cheers

At the end of the day, in the retail business i used to work in. We use to weigh the coins on the work scales. There's an old formula we used to give us our figures at the end of the day. But buggered if i can remember it anymore.

But anyway, if we could find out what it is. We could then translate certain coins back into weight to make a set of old style scales.

I'm in same boat as you riverrat, but for the same reason. I don't keep any scales. If i really need to know what i got, i can always borrow a set. I'm not giving the bugga's any excuses to suggest to me that i'm dealing. So i grow within the boundaries of my state's legislation, that makes me look like a personal grower...

A small diet scale should give you gr readings. They're pretty cheap.

Hell there's times when even my kitchen scale isn't up to the job. For that I have this brass hanging scale with a hook.

I hang that in the garage and then hook on what needs to be weighed. It's a spring type scale but it gives enough of an idea for what I want.
