skunk #1 is one of my favourite strains and im still growing it to this day lol

as for trading cuttings, i agree that it sucks that we cant use this forum to arrange trades or anything like that, but as its against the law it keeps the members safe and the site up  while i dont recommend risking going to prison over trading cuttings, should you feel compelled to do it, make sure you do it off this site like talking to the other person on msn for a bit to make sure they are cool and then meet them in real life. aussie post are cracking down on express post packages lately so the good old days of sending cuttings in the mail might have just come to an end lol

This is an indica type pheno of Afghan#1 im growing. I didn't look after them very well during veg. Smells skunky but not sweet, just strong(not real nice) . Stoned is very strong and couchlock. The sativa phenos have better taste and smell(fruitier) but are real stretchy and lanky.

IMO nirvanas Afghan is alot better than sensi's for smell, taste, although not quite as strong.

"Afghanica

Dominant Afghan taste, form and quality of high coupled with dominant Skunk yield, vigour and general potency gives you the cream of the crops. Heavy compact buds that drip with resin in the heat. Heavy stone. Good for many medical applications.

Developed: Afghanistan, Holland, F-1 hybrid"

Sounds nice specialy the dominant afghan taste and high yields. There should be a keeper there mate.

the skunk and afghan lines are very similar, eg. they are short, indica dominate plants

Skunk is 70% sativa; I have grown it and it's not similar to an Afghan.

Afghanica is yet another Afghan/Skunk cross; every breeder has done it and calls it different names, eg. Superskunk, Mazar; I forget the rest off hand.

Should be good though; try it and tell us.

i have grown an afghan F4 which grew exactly like my indica dominate skunk #1 except for the fact the skunk #1 was a much higher yielder. they both had the same traits when it came to branching, overall size, resin content, etc. its just the buds on the afghan strain were alot smaller than the skunk #1's.

I also had a sativa pheno of skunk #1 which was only minimally different from the indica dominate pheno. the main differences were the taste which was slightly sweeter on the sativa pheno, it took a week longer to flower and the yields were inbetween the indica dominate skunk #1 and the afghan F4 i was growing at the time.

you may say its a 70% sativa strain, but from my experience with the strain which i grew from seed, it would be much closer to 50/50 at the most with the odd pheno leaning on either side of that ratio...
