What is the fastest and best strain?

leafy mate if you are going by a certain time-frame for a cannabis life-cycle of 2 months , well it aint gunna be pretty ... sorta like having a root and when you nearly gunna cum the bitch throws a fit and tips you off the nest !! ... very, very dissapointing exercise

I take it you mean indoors not outdoors.

 

If you are starting from seed then the plant will not be very big before you have to put it into flowering to meet the deadline.

 

Better wait and take more time and let it grow a bit bigger, you will get heaps more yield.

 

You could harvest an Afghani after 6 weeks but that only leaves you with 2 weeks to germinate the seeds and veg them.

They will still be very small.

 

Got to be patient in this game.

I'm ordering the Afghanica, and my growroom setup looks expensive to run, anyone here got a better Idea for

Autopot systems, thinking of getting 5 of them to start with. Need a cost effective grow room

What about a mix of potting mix and perlite in pots? Cheap to set up.

Works well for me.

Spend all you money on the lights; they are the most important thing.

I laugh when I see pics posted on the net by some newby grower and they have concentrated on things like inlet fans, exhaust fans, carbon scrubbers, de-humidifiers, air conditioners, ph meters, thermometers, complicated hydro setup and stuff like that and then as an afterthought they mention they have a 250W light or a few fluoro's for lighting.

It's like all the other stuff is more important than the light.

 

I run a 1000W MH and a 1000W HPS side by side for flower; when I started I didn't have any exhaust fans in the room, just a normal fan blowing on the plants.

It got a bit warm but the plants grew ok. (Was winter).

 

Now I have installed a couple of bathroom type exhaust fans in the ceiling of the flower room, they vent into the ceiling cavity. Does the job well.

I haven't worried about a carbon scrubber yet and I don't think I will.

The growroom is on the second floor and as the used air filters out of the ceiling cavity through gaps in the eaves I think it is too high off the ground for someone standing outside to pick up the smell.

Although once I was trimming buds and I heard the stupid twit who lives over the back fence exclaim in a loud voice, "I smell pot!" But freshly trimmed buds smell much more than undisturbed growing plants.

There was a murmer of voices from a few of the surrounding units saying "shut up" and "fuck off".

I think there are a few people in the near neighbourhood who don't want such things to be broadcast around the neighbourhood.

That sounds fucking hilarious that, I reckon you should get a filter, i've heard of phat filters, wonder if they're any good.
