power cuts

hi all

i'm just wandering about the effects of a power cut when my grow room is up and running ........ cos weve had 2 in the past week alone , each cut was about 2 hours ...... what do ya reckon ?

No idea, happened to me few times in the past, nothing bad happened, its only when the plants are in the budding cycle and you suddenly woke them up during their 12 hour night cycle, will stress them out and risk them turning to hermies.

 

I wouldnt worry too much if happened once or twice, but I have no idea if it happened on regular basis.

 

Please correct me if I am mistaken here.

If they are a stable strain they can handle the occasional power cut, stressing them into hermies takes a bit more messing with their light and temperatures.

g'day; if for 1 week only, no worries, don't worry if in veg, can effect flowering if it happens often.
