anyone recommend a good Indica

Recommended Posts

Afghan plants are small and very potent by nature , but most afghan strains today have been crossed with a skunk to improve yeild and vigor as pure Afghan is not a big yeilder compared with hybrid strains .. theres afghan from a few breeders like sensi, flying dutchman, mr nice, tiki seeds have a small affy ... hard call .. more research B)

Thanks for that Frazzle

Im not really worried about the yeild its just for personal stash, but would like it to be "knock down drag out stone"

Had a look at the Afghani #1 from Sensi on PS and Xpat, PS says no skunk, 100%Indica

Do you know if this one is ok,

The trouble with reading the sites blurb is that it makes every strain sound good, hard to research

If anyone has any thoughts please feel free to add your opinion

Cheers

id try an old mango

u mention PS

I THINK THEY DO KC BRAINS

there mango is supposed to be the best

other than that maybe some celtic stone

it does well everywhere from wat ive seen

take care

bil

The Mango strains i have grown has not been a short plants , they can grow VERY big so mabey one to watch out for if thats a concern to you

Skunk #1 is a good solid ( quite stumpy ) plant , it will give you a good yeild good smoke and pretty much grow to the word of how your told it will, ( a few wonderfull skunk spears with some nice juicy offshoots ) . You can also limit the stretching of a strain by hitting them with a medium dose of potash ( heavy weight is good ) in the first few weeks of flower, it will promote less stretching and more densely grouped flowers ( buds)

hope that is of some assistance , I wouldn't put too much in what the breeders/seedbanks say about the quality because to most breeders most of what they make is topshit in their eyes where as from a growers perspective lookign at ALL the available choices it coudl sit middle scale

Im growing Afghan#1 (sensi) ATM. There are three phenos . Most resiny plant i have grown too date. For a surposed indica they stretch allot, the indica pheno the least. Nirvanas afghan an excelent choice also or even better. Mango is the ducks nuts too but can get pretty tall depending on pheno.

I'd go an afghan of some type,

bc bud depot purple afghani,

maple leaf indica (sensi) .

the list goes on...........

Don’t overlook the Sativa strains. As the plant stretches for heaven it can be tied down and trained to grow horizontally. The results can be quite spectacular.

And properly cured, the smoke is wondrous. When stoned on Sativa, scriptures; philosophies; politics; poetry; literature and music offer salvation in what can otherwise and easily be a stunted world.

If everything was perfect, one would arise in the morning to sativa and progress until the afternoon shadows indicated the more sedentary indica mulls.

This I believe!

In this situation I would steer well clear of Skunk, it lives up to its name and if you had a few in the back yard then half the neighbourhood would smell them when they are flowering, one would be enough to let the immediate neighbours know. I would look at a 60/40 Indica dominant like Bubblegum and pinch the tip out when it gets to its fourth node, this will make it bush out rather than grow tall.

;)
