My first attempt at drying

Recommended Posts

Hi all im new here, i used to be on overgrow before that died but this is my first post here

I come posting because just recently i got my very first fresh bud, believe it or not id only ever bought and had pre dried bud.

As ive come to find out, the plant it was grown on was taken as a clone from an indoor Afghan strain of some sort here in perth, and grown outside from a few months ago. the bud was taken off the plant either saturday the 17th or sunday morning the 18th.

I need some of the bud for this friday night the 23rd leaving a 5 - 6 day drying period. But do not worry for that will be a small portion and the rest will not be wasted. I will attempt to 'cure' the other buds.

Now i don't have heaps, but for the first day i left it in a plastic container with the lid off a few meter away from a fan at night time, not knowing what to do with it. Since then iv strung it up like shown in the picture. Do you think any of the strung up bud will be smokable by Friday?

The um coke bottle in the background inst filled with piss either its just some homebrew ginger beer.

Thanks in advance

Well theyre all dry now and sittign safely in a jar with some vinilla bean pods.

Dried prety fast with all these 35 degree days.

Such a shame it like cut 2/3 of its weight and 1/3 of its size prety much. Crazy, if i didnt realise how much ti was and had my own grow id feel so ripped off when i weighed my grow then dried n weighed it :peace:.
