Celebrities and the Cannabis Controversy

There are quite a few celebrities who are going to be for the interest

of legalizing cannabis as medicine for an array of reasons, starting

with freedom and going all the way to the fact that severely sick and

dying people tend to find relief while using this plant.

 

This week I will introduce you to some of the more noteworthy

celebrities who have spoken out. First of course I will mention Montel

Williams, as he and I suffer from the same disease, multiple

sclerosis. Cannabis has been proven to help this and other chronic

illnesses. The proof is out there. Here is a sample:

This is a great example of some of the incredible medical articles

that are available on the web today. It sure is great to be armed with

studies like this when I show up at places such as the MS Society. I

am always thrilled to have the latest medical information�

 

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has also expressed the same sentiment

when he spoke out publicly this past week about HIS cannabis use back

in 1977. His claim when asked about his smoking cannabis while working

out in an old video was that cannabis wasn't a drug - it was a LEAF!

Seems the hottest, newest host of the long running show The Price is

Right is also speaking out about the atrocities associated with

denying medical marijuana. Drew Carey spoke openly about the need for

sick people to have access to this very important medicine and takes

us on a tour of one of the local Dispensaries....
