help me please

Thanks for the welcoming and your inputs. I seriously need help in the growing phase please. There is soooo much info out there and it is hard to narrow down what I shoud/should'nt do. As my topic describes I would like any input on what I should do. I am a first time grower and would very much know what and how I should grow. Reading about ALL the different strains and males/females has me overwhelmed buds vs leaves. The seeds that I have chosen are the following and I have the listed from what I want the most to the least. I was told that Super Nova was the best for medicinal pain, does anyone know if that is true, or if they have tried it and what their thoughts are. Next is White Widow, White Queen , Light of Jar, Northern lights/Kush, Some of these either indoor or outdoor and some are just indoor. I would like to know what would be best for a newbie like me. Since I am only growing for myself and want to have the most potency as possible w/o a crappy aftertaste so that I smoke less, how many plats should I grow at one time and if I am smoking less than 1/2 a bowl (waterpipe/bong) every other night how long would one plant last or give. Since I live in a dry and desert region ssould I stick to hydro or grow inside/outside with soil? I realize that everyone is different but my THUMB is not GREEN so the most fool proof way is best . I know I am new at this and anyone can be reading but, hass anyone had any problems with ordering seeds, i.e. not getting them or having them confiscated. i know someone who was ordering RX's from Mexico and they were ceased, and they recvd a letter in the mail telling them that it was illegal, so on and so forth. I know that the books I have read tell you what you NEED and SHOULD do to help illiminate these problems, but we all need to start somewhere so if anyone has any feedback on this pkease let me know.

you really should pick up a book on how to grow MJ or read some articals online to get an idea on what your doing we can answer most of your questions but that will only lead to more questions being asked where as if u read a basic book on growing pot you will understand most things

you only need 1 book it covers the basic things you'll need to know

if you want a very basic garden, grow in coco. it is very much like soil, but gives hydro results, its very forgiving to newbie mess ups, etc. its a great starting medium and best of all you can easily recycle it after the crop so you dont need to buy very much of it

 

as for what strain to grow, consider your growing conditions, what flavours you like, etc. and pick them for yourself. only you will know what you like in your smoko and there will be so many phenos to pick from regardless of what seeds you buy that you'll need to sample them all before picking a mother plant.

 

the best advice i can give you is to look through the grow diaries on here, especially from the first and second time growers. they have alot more problems that need addressing than seasoned growers so you'll be able to see where they have gone wrong and hopefully you'll avoid making simular mistakes but if worse comes to worse, just post your problems on here and we'll get you sorted out in no time
