stability? is it available in seed form

Recommended Posts

Actually the Calizahr is looking better now it is half dry; the buds have shrunk down a bit in volume leaving the resin more concentrated on the remaining bud.

The resin crsytals are fine crystals not large crystals as I would expect from an afghani cross.

In the end it looks like it's going to turn out better than I thought it would initially, but still not good enough for me to bother growing it again.

Frazzle - I have a camera but it's not digital.

In the past I have taken the film to the chemist to be developed (she said "nice plants" when I went to pick them up.)

But not long ago I heard about someone getting busted after taking photo's to be developed, the cops were waiting when he went to pick up the photo's, so I'm a bit nervous about taking any more films to be developed.

I have cloned all five phenotypes so if I don't get photo's this round then I will get some the next round.

Yeah, I don't know what the story is with Chimera.

He has the background for breeding, apart from professional qualifications in botany he was helping Breeder Steve from Spice of Life seeds and DJ Short in Breeder Steves Swiss based breeding facility when they were doing some breeding project over there.

DJ Short gives him a good rap.

I think he's probably not that organised in his personal life.

It also seems to me that most of his breeding consists of crossing a couple of existing strains that he has got his hands on and then giving the resulting cross a name and putting the seeds out there, without bothering to grow them out and see how they turned out.

We can just keep searching (and spending a lot of money in the process).

I'm going to start crossing the different strains I get and see if anything interesting pops up that is better than the original.

I currently have some Blubonic x Calizahr seeds I made but I haven't tried them yet. In fact in light of my dissappointment with the Calizahr I have been thinking I should just throw them out, because I don't think an excellent plant can result from crossing two mediocre plants.

A couple of crosses I would like to make are True Blueberry x Skunk and True Blueberry x White Widow.

Should be interesting. Just got to get a decent White Widow. I had a White Widow male plant several years ago that had resin crystals on the male flowers and the small leaves around them. I tried to reveg it but unfortunately I lost it.

I grew chimeras Mountain Jam and it took a good 2 month cure before it became apparent how good it actually was. The first smokes after harvest were a bit like a racy uplifting sativa but after a good cure it turned into a more powerful indica.

Good yield but a distinct lack of resin.

You can't always tell from the look of the resin how potent a smoke might be.

gunna get me some herijuana

Hey billo, I grew some heri a couple of years ago. There is a bit of variation in those. I found a nice Indica with rock hard buds (like cutting up leather). Nice variety but like most others does not really live up to the hype. Having said that ,I liked this variety and was sad to lose it.
