Lowryder, and lowryder 2

Ok, before I go out and buy lowryder 2 seeds what are people's opinions on what the smoke is like?

I want something that will give me some bud buy the end of dec, early jan. so thats why i want LD2, but I dont want some shit bud. Whats the high like? And how much does one need to smoke before one gets HIGH/STONED?

if getting some average quality smoko asap is your only concern then you should buy some lowryder as it finishes very quickly and will provide buds that will get you fairly stoned. but if you are after a strain that you can clone and keep a mother of so you dont lose the strain you have spent your hard earned money on, i recommend getting another strain and if you want buds asap you should aim for a strain thats pretty much a pure indica or very close, something along the lines of an afghan or skunk strain

Its possible right, if you want to keep the lowryder to choose a male and female plant, take them somewhere else, let them breed, take the seeds from the fem. and just use them for future grows?

That solves the problem of not being able to do clones, but it may take more time. Free seeds though.

 

Yeah, Im really short on money and spending 80 bucks on some lowryder is an idea tossing in my mind. I think I will, only to get some bud.

 

But anyone who has smoked lowryder, what kinda high you get? Deep and thinking? Relaxed? I think it's possible my last smoke was lowryder Or it was just weak...

for $60 you could get some heaps better genetics than lowryder and while its true that you could make more seeds by leaving a male around some females, why bother with another seed crop of a strain you have already grown when you can save time, money and effort by growing only female cuttings?

 

lowryder provides an indica dominate high that gives a slightly ephoric feeling while leaving you feeling couch locked with the munchies. imo its nothing to write home about, but you will get fairly hammered none the less.

If Mdanzig ever makes another appearance, he's a LR breeder. Smokin All Day UK is growing some at this very moment, so I think gettin a hold of him will give you more info than anyone else here (except for mdanzig) There is also a site dedicated to the growing of the stain, www.highbred.com they've been having tech problems L8ly, so if u can't get in keep trying!

LR has it's place. There are lots of ppl that wouldn't grow anything else. Those ppl do not hang out here though. There's more info here if you look, mostly opinions.

Hmm, well, it's got me thinking. I want some quick bud while I wait for my H. Kush to grow. But once they are both done, I would really just have 2 of the same smoke, one stronger than the other. But if i were to buy till then, and grow some sativa, I could by the end choose what smoke I want....

This sounds better in the long run, but im not a very patient person, esp. coz im new to this.

 

Does anyone know (ill search now) of a lowryder with sativa in it instead of indica?

Sativas are too big and take too long to finish, so probably not. Try seedsman for the LR. I think you'll be surprised at the potency. I think Smokins plants are at like 38 days and they're flowering! And he's only running flouros! My Hindu Kush is growing probably as fast as the Mothers Finest (mostly sativa) but is 1/4 the height and fat. Here I'm seriously thinking of getting rid of the sativas, and you want them.... Wish I could give them to you! I have to go dig one up and bring her in because she's never going to finish before it freezes outside.

If www.highbred.com ever gets back up, you'll find everything u need there. I'm still impressed that the males get resin!

LR is my next project, I'll build a box just for them. I sent for seed at soulseeds.com.uk but never got them, and I've been wanting to grow LowSnow, I hear it smells like fresh roasting coffee in flower, and MasterLow. Maybe after xmas.
