About 2 weeks ago some storms rolled through daily hanging about for days. It pissed down here It was a good time just to sit back and pull cones for 7 days.

Your right about the resemblance of the fleshy bud to the plants natural storing containers. Let's hope they are resin sacks & all full of sticky resin.

 

I have ended up with two distinct pheno's from seed. all to be expected from F1's. all plants are similar in structure. all are of similar height whith all plants healthy as shit. Plant a pheno has very white hairs (pistles) while Plant B (Pheno # 2 - of which there is one) has a pink tinge to the ends of the pistles.

of the South American Indians and wrote about the hallucinogenic intoxication caused by peyotl (as the plant was refered to in Nahuatl language).

 

V.A. Reko has translated a paragraph from Sahagun's 'Historia Universalis' concerning the pre-columbian use of Peyotl:

 

"Er macht Visionen, er gibt Kraft, Labt keine Furcht aufkommen, kein durst. Bewahrt den Korper vor aller Gefahr".

 

In 1953, Aldous Huxley described his mescaline experiences very vividly in the 'The Doors of Perception' and 'Heaven and Hell'.

 

Effects :

Luxuriant visual- and auditory hallucinations, alteration in space- and time perception, sensations of weightlessness, macropsia, depersonalisation. Mescaline has stimulating effects in lower- and sedative effects in higher doses.

Autonomic changes: nausea, pupillary dilation, increased pulse rate and blood pressure, elevated body temperature, profuse sweating, tremor and the threshold for elicitation of the knee jerk is decreased.

 

Duration :

The effects appear within two hours after ingestion and last for four to twelve hours.
