she was transplanted about 3 times before i put it in the pot its in (25L ice cream bucket) and when she sprouted i was out of town and the plant stretched heaps and the first leaves had no green in them at all i think it was 4 or 5 days between sprouting and putting it in its first pot. maybe i stumbled upon the secrets of dwarfing marijuana plants.

I live in the Kimberleys (way north WA) so i think i have more time in and around 12/12 than some of you southerners. correct me if im wrong.

what do you think i should do with her.

Bring it inside and put her under a heap of crappy CFL's,

Leave it outside and let nature take its course

Or use a cover over the plant to keep the light hours at 12/12?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

If you only want spindly airy buds or to reveg it for a mum, go with the cfl's.

If you want it to reveg and grow into a monster, yielding ounces of head in April/May next year, then let nature take it's course.

I'd be trying your 3rd option, mainly because I've always wondered if it would work, you did say it was experimental ;)

 are you thinking about a permanent partial cover that only allows light to the plant for <12hrs or could you just place a garbage bin or something over it each afternoon, 12hrs after sunrise?

i was thinking of putting a black bin over it or something at 5.30 every evening and take it off after dark, but I wont be there every evening, and im going on holiday in about 6 or 7 weeks time. hopefully it will be covered in red hairs by then.

And I don't want a monster stinking plant in my backyard its a bit too sus. This plant is already quite smelly a real skunky smell.

unless i can devise an automated system, but that sounds like alot of pulleys, motors and rope and some sort of timer device. oh a stoner can dream.
