just another query, instead of pollinating for vigour and potency, why not graft the 2 varieties u want? is this a technique worth looking into? :mellow:

g'day; i've not heard of anyone grafting 1 strain to another, i was going to try it but dont have time this year. i been thinkin of trying to graft 1male to another male root ball. no idea if possible to graft mj or not, try it and give updates.

I have been reading some really old High Times magazines last year and they were doing a story about grafting MJ plants onto Hop plants (plants for beermaking they claimed that Hops is a distance cousin of MJ plants.

 

They claimed it worked doing Hops and MJ plants but very high failure rate..... I am not sure it it meant Hops plants grated with mj stems or MJ plants grafted to hops stems... it was few years ago... cant remember...

 

Would be interesting to use these "MJ Hops" for my home brews...

 

I have no idea if this is a other bullshit MJ myth....

 

Maybe it might be easier to breed them with males and females rather than grafting them together because I wonder if MJ plants is kinda of "too woody/dry/stringy" for grafting, you might need these grafting waxes or whatever they are called...

 

But I will be interested to read someone's trials and errors.... But honestly it wouldnt surprise me is it has a high failure rate.... I am happy to see someone prove me wrong here.
