i like 600w per 1m area

Yeppers, that's just a tick more than 50W sq ft. 50W/sf converts to 538W per sq metre.

Sunlight is about 800-1000W per sq metre. However, more than satisfactory density and overall yield results can be had indoors at 500-600W/sq metre with HPS as it produces output more closely matched to the reactive spectrum for chlorophyll. Sunlight has a lot of energy in spectral regions that plants don't necessarily need. 600W/sq m of HPS likely contains more plant-usable light energy than sunlight.
