THE costliest place in the world to get high is Japan, according to the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime's annual World

Drug Report. The street price of a gram of cannabis weed was $58.30 in 2005, over twice as much as in the next most expensive

nation, Australia.

 

Americans pay nearly twice as much as Canadians. Similar disparities occur in Europe.

 

Although the Netherlands is the only Western country where cannabis can be bought legally, punters pay more there than in Germany or France. Prices are cheapest in developing countries, where enforcement is less strict.

Fuck....lets all have a smoke in commiseration for our Japanese friends, almost $60 a gram??? i think they should stick to prescription meds........ That price would savagely cut back my habit

Anyone who pays $26 a gram in Australia is a dickhead Shit when I lived with a dealer it was $20 for 1(or 1.2 depending upon the quality) or $50 for 3gm(which is pretty standard).

 

I didn't realise the cops had raised the prices recently

I used to have to pay $25 a gram when I lived in a remote part of the country, but it was either that or go without so... shit yeah, I paid it!!

 

I occasionally would get quarters, but they cost like $120!

 

Nowadays I reckon $10 a gram is about right and living in a metro area I can't remember the last time I paid any more than this. I s'pose too that I never buy less than a half so that brings the price down a fair bit.

$20 will get me 1g which is more like 0.8g after the stem is removed and $25 will get me 1.3g which only goes upto 1g after removing the stem

Woah, i'm either massively confused or something or just get a really good deal. I can pay $10 and get 1 gram and it's for stuff that manages to get me pretty whacked.

if any pays over 10 bucks a g your outve your mind.. unless its insane preemo. here in the home of the best bud in the world, Canada, its 10 bucks a g, 25 bucks an 1/8, 50-55 bucks a 1/4, 90-110 bucks a 1/2, an for a ounce expect 180-220 depending on how good the shit is. haha dope canada
