Dopey dealer reports theft to police

Recommended Posts

A 20-year-old Californian man called police after two men pointed a gun through the window of his parked car - and stole the four ounces (113g) of marijuana he was holding.

According to police spokesman Zach Friend, the man first claimed his stash was for medicinal use, then that he was minding it for a friend, before finally admitting it was stolen by his prospective customers.

"His initial line of defense was to present us with a medical marijuana card, which – no surprise – does not allow you to sell marijuana on the street," said police spokesman Zach Friend.

"At one point he said he regretted calling us, and I'm sure he did," Friend said. "It's quite rare to have people dealing drugs call us when they're ripped off."

No charges were laid against the man as he no longer had any drugs in his possession. The other two guys, however, are wanted on suspicion of armed robbery.

I suppose on the bright side of things the police didnt end up arresting him and aree now chasing the thieves, but how much of an idiot do you have to be to call the police because your deal didnt go as expected

if he had a medical card then he is well within his right to call the police if his stash get taken, i think that if he was a medical patient then he almost had to call them, but if he was selling it and got ripped rather than just having his stash taken what an idiot. again though i know people on meds here in aus that if they loose a box or have them stolen they are ment to report it to the police.
