thanks everyone for their help...

potting mix i have been using is an organic potting mix and i have been trying to not overwater, but as myst says, there has been a lot of rain and unfortunately sometimes the amount of water they receive is out of my control...

plants are of course going to be repotted soon..

i always knew that the timing would be a close thing, i was going on the adviceand experience of a couple of friends of mine who have successfully managed to have outdoor grows going at this time of year in my area, of course the results aren't as good as a standard summer season...but they have managed to make it work, so i thought i would give it a bash...

anyhow, you learn by experience right, and it won't be the end of the world if the results aren't spectacular...

thanks again guys, all your tips and suggestions are greatly appreciated...

bacchus- light hours is biggest factor, buddy is right, a greenhouse won't help, although, i'll let u in on a little secret, i have done this before a few times and if u r willing to risk a couple turning moffy from stress by all means give it a shot! grow in seed raiser as normal then transplant into pure wormcastings at bout 2 weeks, i have done this many times and while in the pure cast, your plants will not bud, when they get to a hight (don't be too greedy now) transfer to regular mix, you have to shake off worm (or most of it) do it quick though, early morn preferably, they should start to bud 4 u, although strain i use for this r majority sativa, not sure if it would work for the shorter term stuff? u won't get a massive crop, but more than if u leave em outside in current state .. anyone else tried this???
