i am only going on what i have been told as i aquired the plant already growing

the bloke said he planted the seed about 3 months ago

it was an outdoor plant and was grown in winter conditions which may of contributed to the size

btw it was only bagseed but the bag was killer stuff which is why my mate put it in the ground

i live in perth so that should help with what sort of weather it is receiving

right now it is under no artificial light just sitting on my balcony and getting watered every morning

so if i put it back into veg mode would the young buds die off or remain stagnet

until i am ready to flower it again

also i have read on here about "reveging" could that be applied here

i will go take some more pics now to show you what it is like now

it would have grown about 6 inches in the past 2 weeks

you watering the plant daily is probably why it looks sad you said in your first post the plant is in a 12-15L pot for this size plant u will only need to water once every 3-4 days by the looks of the plant its very spindly so the root system would look the same i'd go with a good watering every 4th day she will perk up once the soil drys out

this is 2 of the dovelping buds about halfway town the plants (nodes i think they are called )

the plant has 9 nodes and this is the 4th from the bottom

most of the buds on the plant are about 10-12 mm wide

and the plant is covered in them

this is the top down the top bud and is about the same size a a 20 cent peice mabye a little bigger

i am yet to see much "sparkle" but there is some there

and so in closing it is a little battered atm the wind here is perth was really strong had to bring it inside

but it hasn't died and its female so i am happy it my first ever plant so i am easy to please

i will be tranplanting into a big 14 in pot this weekend to give it some legroom

and now a couple of questions

1. how far into flowering do you think this plant is i know there are many variables just chasin a ball park figure

2. what fertiliser should i buy when u do my bunnings run this weekend (eg something to help the transplant and something to beef up the budz)

if the plant was grown in good conditions it would be around 3rd week of flower but since the plant is so small for 3 months i would say its around 5-6th week flowering and if your interested in going indoors shoot me a PM i found a shop that has the 100w CFL's for $40 i aint sure if i can post the link so PM will be better Edited by Gazza2001au

TY gazza pm sent

i was thing of grabing like a 5 bayonet party light set and throwing in a whole bunch of 20 watters(=to 100w normal aparently) and draping them around my space

if i did this i could get 500w for under $100 bucks

but the phrase you get what you paid for comes to mind

btw the space has a bottom area of about 2.3 to 3.5 square feet the volume would be about 15ft cubed

Ok. I use CFLs in my veg box both 120w(28w) floods and common household 100w spirals, I have at least 6 going at any given time and everything is thriving; clones, seedlings, and mothers. My lights are never more than 30cm from the plants and are all around even underneath. Make sure the lamp you use is able to handle the bulb or the bulbs will burn out and they're not cheap.

You've gone the easiest way for a beginner but remember that the slow release nutes in the soil are only good for 3 months. You can either repot, or to be safe use good water (filtered or rain) and some fish emulsion (5-1-1) Please don't confuse the nutes used in hydro with a soil grow, or you will over do it. More is not always better.

The plant looks spindly and in need of both more light and probably a FIM.

Fim stands for "fuck I missed" and it's very simple. Either with a thumbnail or nail clippers you snip off half of the tender new growth at the very top. What this will do is send the plants vertical growth hormones back down the stem and cause side branching.

You will have to get many more side branches to be able to take cuttings. And when you do, be sure to take them from the bottom or as close to the bottom as U can get as this is where all the plants rooting hormones are. But before you do any of that you need to get her in shape.

The bag seed will most probably not grow out to the same stuff you smoked, but that doesn't mean it will be schwagg, just that it will be one of the parent plants.

I see she's in flower, are U going to try to reveg her to get some clones?
