Im not worried at all about them. And i wont be trimming them off. the last example i gave was very extreme. My current grow hasnt stretched like that and will/should fatten up nicely i think.

Only 2 week to go.

I've had this happen also. One bloke explained the strain thing to me as you get Pine Cones, Donkey Dicks, or Fox Tails. Apparently some people prefer the fox tail pheno. Another thing to check for is light leaks in the grow room.
