what is the absolute lowest temp a plant will grow in

indoor or outdoor ? hydro or organic ? had a few 0 mornings here this winter and mine still going great. although when the lights are on the temp in my room is up, i run a 600w hps and it gives out a fair bit of heat. really it will grow in pretty much any temp but the determing factor is the photoperiod that accompanies the temp. ie; for outdoor in australia when winter sets in the days get shorter and turn the plant to flower usually resulting in a harvest around april, may. the same thing with hydro but we manipulate the photoperiod, 18hours on 6 hours off for vegetation stage and 12 hours on 12 hours off for flowering stage. this is how we can take a harvest in usually anywhere between 8 weeks and 12 weeks depending on the strain. some flower longer than others you see. so temp is not really a problem, they grow mj all around the world even in some of the coldest places on this planet. happy growing.

Cannabis won't do much at 16C and down as an avg temp- it'll be close to dormant. If you try to put cuttings or seedling out in temps like that, they will survive but will be very stunted.
